Q: Tell us about your family.
A: Family is the reason I am with this company! My father, Gregg Haney, started the company in 2006 and it’s been a part of my life ever since. I am here to carry on his vision and grow his legacy. When I am not at the office, I spend a lot of time with my parents and my son, Kessler. We most enjoy being at the lake, on the golf course or vacationing together.
Q: What or who inspires you?
A: I am inspired by travel–experiencing new cultures, meeting new people, tasting new foods and making new memories all rejuvenate me.
Q: What’s your secret talent?
A: I am a proud BBQ Pitmaster. I am an official judge of the World Championship BBQ Cooking Contest that takes place each May in Memphis, Tennessee.
Q: What do you like to do when you’re not working?
A: In my free time, I enjoy traveling and patronizing Wisconsin supper clubs with my family. I also enjoy cooking and collecting books such as dictionaries, banned books, Little Golden Books, Dr. Seuss books and Christmas literature. When I’m not working, you can find me on a beach or on a cruise to get to a beach.
Q: What do you enjoy most about working for this company?
A: What I enjoy most about working for our company is the sense of pride I have in our team. Every person is on a constant quest for excellence–individually and collaboratively–and I am so humbled to be part of such an elite group of people.
Q: What is your favorite inspirational quote or piece of advice to keep you going?
A: Bob Marley said, “Love the life you live; live the life you love” but I think he had it backwards…it sounds passive to me, so I changed it to: “Live the life you love; love the life you live.” I like that; I said that.
Q: What song drives you?
A: “Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes” by Jimmy Buffett LISTEN
